MMTs Environmental Management system was recently ISO14001 certificated by Semko-Intertek.
The work to reduce the Environmental impacts is however continuing.
MMT has recently signed an agreement with Telge Energi. All electricity delivered to MMT is from now on produced by wind- and water sources only. The CO2-emissions is reduced from 90 g to 1g CO2 per kWh produced, which is equal to an annual reduction of 18.5 tons of CO2.
